React Native developer - Epic.one

At Epic, we are building the superapp for rewards. One app to rule them all - to collate your reward points and to spend them on anything ranging from booking hotels to paying for your chai.

I lead Engineering at Epic and we are building this super app on a timeline that's almost deemed impossible. Yet we are not buring the midnight oil. We have made this possible by automating the heck out of mobile app development. Automated builds on bitrise, integration with Github actions, you name it and we'll most likely be looking at it. Of course, it goes without saying we are doing our best at automating testing as well.  If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please apply.

I am looking to hire 2 React native engineers to join this team as our workload has unexpectedly shot up and we are bursting at the seams.

You are someone who is proficient in RN, preferably with some app to show off. I don't really care about the number of years you have worked on React Native. In fact, I have hired a dev who is yet to graduate from college. If you have built RN apps, are familiar with state management, can challenge me and my team on new ways of building our app, please apply.

Interview process - A basic algorithm test -> Build a RN screen from a design spec -> Improvise this screen with API calls -> Final behavior/fit interview -> Hire.

I respect the applicant's time and effort. So I won't waste your time if you are not a fit. I try to get back to every applicant but this is always not possible and we don't have an automated resume screeners. So yes, I am manually looking at every application.
