Chaos Engine Labs (CEL) is a Bengaluru-based, AI-native casual mobile gaming startup backed by marquee investors, including Accel and BITKRAFT Ventures.
What you’ll do
- Own Product Design for our casual mobile games: core loops, onboarding, menus, meta and monetisation flows
- Turn rough game ideas into playable flows, wireframes and polished screens quickly
- Build and maintain a design system our AI agents and engineers can reuse across games
- Use player data and playtests to improve retention and engagement
- Work closely with the founders, game designers and engineers
No years-of-experience bar. What we care about:
- You’re full-stack: UX, UI, micro-interactions, transitions and animation
- You work hands-on with Figma, Rive and Adobe MCPs, driving them through AI agents
- You ship fully developed, working prototypes, not just static screens
- You know from A/B tests that what looks good doesn’t always work
- You have a portfolio that shows both your thinking and your craft
- You like speed, ambiguity and owning outcomes end to end, and you’re ready to bet on yourself
Not for you if
- You’re strong in only one slice of design
- You think AI can’t do creative work
- You need clear briefs and process to do your best work. We need someone who builds their own structure.
Brownie points if you
- Can deconstruct any top mobile game, or a game disguised as an app (think Duolingo)
- Have shipped what you’ve designed as a product or website
- Have worked as a developer at a consumer tech company
- Have worked on a product with 100K+ DAU
- Can max out a $200/mo Claude Code plan in a week
Location and schedule
Bengaluru, in-office, 6 days a week.
