YOUR ROLE AS AN FRONT-END  DEVELOPER AT MINANCE:

We are looking for a Front-End developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications in responsive and adaptive design. Your primary focus will be the development of web applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. In short, we need developers who can bring awesome designs to life.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Understands technical and functional design requirements
• Understanding of JavaScript and DOM manipulation (without the use of a library)
• Solid HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript Skills
• Production Experience with ReactJS is a must.
• A solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming principles
• Familiar with responsive design layout and programming
• Understands the necessity of and contributes to coding standards
• Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions
• Experience in working with the art/design team.
• Seek the assistance of senior team members to tackle personal assignments when required
• Prioritizes multiple tasks efficiently
• Post-mortem documentation of technical development (ie. Summary of hours and development difficulties)
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Eager to learn!
• Be an ambassador of Minance in and out of the office

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Application or any technology background, or good track record in Front-End Development (in case of no degree available).
• Candidate should have a web portfolio of their work. Just resume document won't do.
• At least one year of production quality development experience.
• High-level knowledge of HTML, the DOM, CSS, responsive design and superior knowledge of browser compatibility issues
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect web applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
•  Detail oriented and passionate about your craft
• A knack for benchmarking and optimisation
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Proven track record working in a team environment, embedded and/or remotely.

COMPENSATION:

• Annual pay of Rs 5 lakhs and above depending on what you bring to the table. We’re not stuck up on salary and want to take money off the table and have you focus just on writing great code.
