Java Developer

We are Infrrd - the Enterprise AI company that uses AI and Machine Learning technologies to help our customer automate human tasks. We are looking for Java Developer who will help implement solutions for the specific needs of our various clients and/or contribute to the development of our products.

Like any job, it has it's do's and don'ts. Let's talk about the don'ts first. We are not looking for someone who: 

1. Cannot write concise, performance efficient code.
2. Does not want to stay hands on with code for a long time to come.
3. Cannot solve complex problems fast! We compete with some of the best companies on the planet and we need teammates who can give tough competition to these companies in terms of both speed and accuracy.

With the don'ts out of the way, lets talk about the good stuff.

1. We are a team of about 200 people, so while we are young - we are not a start-up.

3. There are three levels of people in our team - those who do the work, those who can fix things when they are not working and the ones that can own outcomes. This job belongs in the first category which includes designing, testing, problem solving and developing awesome code with high accuracy. You will be responsible to combine analysis and curiosity to understand how things work and what can be done to make them work better.
4. Our team is spread in 3 parts of the globe - US, Europe and India. You will need to be comfortable working with remote colleagues.

If you have read this far, then you may want to know what background we would like our Java Developers to have. We have made a list, here it is:

1. More than 1 year of experience in working on JAVA/J2EE, Web Services using SOAP and JSON.
2. A Good Engineering or Masters degree from a reputed university
3. Delivery experience on Web application development in all phases of SDLC. (Requirements, Coding, Design and Implementation)
4. Should have strong technical skills with a good grasp of OO concepts and design patterns
5. Sound knowledge of MySql, Oracle, XML, HTML, UML & SQL .
6. Good understanding of frameworks like Struts, JSF, AJAX, Java script, JSON, Dojo, Hibernate, Spring etc is a plus.
7. Ability and willingness to continuously learn, explore and master emerging technologies.
