Go Lang Application Developers (2+ Years)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build RESTful web applications
  • Use the latest technology and techniques to build distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software systems that power our business communication offerings
  • Take a customer-focused approach in working with our product team to prioritize and deliver new features
  • Deliver testable and maintainable code
  • Learn on the job new technologies and techniques to support our continuous improvement culture
  • Help drive the technical roadmap

Technical Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of application development experience with Golang
  • RESTful/gRPC based API design and implementation
  • Object-oriented programming and component-based development
  • Core java experience (experience working with Java 1.8+)
  • Experience working with Redis, Kafka
  • Database knowledge such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB
  • Understanding of JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes a plus
  • Experience working with continuous integration tools e.g. Jenkins, Sonar
  • Familiarity working with UNIX based systems

Other Requirements:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience working in a team-based environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
  • Review, document on and facilitate code reviews
  • Proficiency building unit tests
