Technical Sales Engineer

As Technical Sales Engineer, you play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationship with potential customers & partners and by maximizing sales revenue.


  • Prospecting and generating sales leads and following them till closing
  • Understanding customer's needs, finding solutions and offering best solution
  • Driving interactive communication, Customer relationship development and overall sales management
  • Calling prospective customers and travel to meet them personally
  • Drafting proposals, order confirmations and sending invoices to customers using CRM system
  • Identify new business opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them
  • Regular follow up with customers for delayed payments


  • Experience in selling technical products in a B2B environment
  • Great prospecting and closing skills Good listener and confident speaker in English and other local language
  • Strong networking, analytical, management, leadership and strong communication skills and should be able to explain technical material in understandable terms
  • Previous experience in sales and business development, preferably in Solar industry or related/similar industry
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexible to travel across the country
  • Ability to assume responsibility and take initiative
  • The ability to create professional eye-catching presentations
  • A team player who is willing to own the area of responsibility and also willing to pitch in when needed elsewhere
  • Highly organized and self-disciplined approach to personal time management
