Full-time Product Designer

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a Product/Interaction Designer with strong visual and interaction design skills to help us create the next generation of online jewellery buying user experience. The ideal candidate should be well versed in mobile interaction patterns, with an eye for detail along with a strong understanding of design principles. He/she should be guided by a strong knowledge of user centered design methodologies.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with a top-level product design consultancy, working alongside lop-level executives from Ola and Cleartrip
  • Work with product managers to understand business requirements
  • Define/refine requirements and deliver concepts/interface designs
  • Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
  • Assist product and engineering teams in the smooth and accurate translation of design to code

What we looking for:

  • Strong design sensibilities (visual, motion and interaction) and attention to detail backed by a strong portfolio 
  • Expert in interface design patterns - know thy platforms
  • Good communicator with solid negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask and think on your feet - drive projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in any major design software
  • A 2 year + experience will get you extra points
  • Experience with ecommerce product design is a plus
