Job Description
- Developing clear and concise analytical methodology for problem solving
- Ability to code on SAS/R for data munging, analysis and insights while also working with languages like Python (or ruby or any other programing language) for creating production ready code
- Experience dealing with real life large structured/unstructured dataset. Kaggle profile or experience is a plus- Managing delivery of projects incl. timely communication, setting milestones and tracking - Generating actionable insights for business/KPI improvements
- Understanding of ML libraries and applications e.g. Neural Net, SVMs, Boosting methods. - Experience of taking to production at least one deployment of Machine Learning algorithms is a plus
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3 years of experience with machine learning, analytic consulting, product development
- Minimum 2 years hands on coding experience with either of SAS/R/Python/Hive/Pig and demonstrated strong proficiency.
- PhD, MBA, B.Tech, Masters in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics or related engineering discipline, - Should be comfortable working in a fast paced start up / small office environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation & data visualization skills using either of Tableau, Qlikview, d3.js is a plus
