Python Developer with Linux Skills

We are a funded sports-software startup, selected by NASCOMM as one of the top 10 startups in India. We revolutionalized how cricket is viewed and recorded for amateurs and semi-professionals, and now we are at the cusp of another revolution in the live streaming of sports events. We are looking to onboard smart-working entrepreneurial hard-core programmers to join us on our way to a great break through.

  • On the python side,
    • Should be well versed with basic python scripting
    • Should be well versed with event-driven programming and multi-threading in Python
    • Should be thorough with file I/O, reading and writing CSV, JSON files
    • Should have good understanding of API programming and usage (Flask preferred)
    • Familiarity with OS, Subprocess modules
    • Strong unit test and debugging skills
    • Familiar with Git usage
  • On the Linux side, knowledge of:
    • System service
    • Init process
    • Basic shell scripting
    • Process management
    • Building and installing utilities
